How to Whitelist Interlining Plus Emails in Your Spam Filter

If you currently use an anti-spam program or service, or if your ISP or e-mail provider does, you can help insure that you receive your Interlining Plus newsletters by adding them to your "safe" or permitted e-mail sender list (often called a "whitelist"). This usually means simply adding our sending (or "From") address to your whitelist, safelist or list of privileged senders.

If you do not find your e-mail provider or anti-spam solution in the list below, check the "Other Providers" information at the bottom. You may also wish to consult the Help option your e-mail provider probably offers. In most cases below we also include information on how to whitelist the server which sends an e-mail verification message to first-time newsletter subscribers.

  • Go to keyword: Mail Controls.
  • Select the screen name to which we send your Interlining Plus newsletters. Click Customize Mail Controls For This Screen Name.

Version 9.0:

  • Open your most recent Interlining Plus newsletter. Click the Add Address button (on the right) to add to your "People I Know" list.
  • As an alternative, simply send an e-mail to: info@InterliningPlus.com, and that will add the newsletters to your "People I Know" list automatically. To do this:
    • Open your most recent Interlining Plus newsletter.
    • Click the Reply button (in the top right corner).
    • A new e-mail window will open with the wrong address in the "Send To" box.
    • Replace the address in the Send To box with: info@InterliningPlus.com
    • Click Send Now (in the top right corner).

(You probably will receive an autoreply from Interlining Plus stating that address cannot accept e-mail. Don't worry; the act of sending the message there does the job of putting Interlining Plus newsletters into your AOL "People I Know" list.)

  • If Interlining Plus newsletters are filtered, from the spambox click on the white "W" icon on the left column of the mailing. When the pop-up window is displayed, click the Add to Whitelist button.
    • Alternative whitelisting methods--use this method also to whitelist the verification message which will be sent to you to activate your subscription:
      • Click on the White List button. Add info@interliningplus.com to the bottom of your existing list. Click the Submit List button, or
      • Click the Subject White List button. Add none to the bottom of the list on a line by itself. Click the Submit List button.

  • Select Cloudmark | Options... from the Cloudmark SpamNet toolbar in Outlook.
  • Click Advanced.
  • Go to the Whitelist tab.
  • Click the Add button.
  • Type: info@InterliningPlus.com
  • Click OK.
  • Click OK.
  • Click Yes.
  • Click OK.

  • Click the Options link on the main menu tabs, then Safe List.
  • Type info@interliningplus.com in your Safe List.
  • If you see a message in your Junk Mail folder (such as a Interlining Plus newsletter) that should not be there, click 'This is not Junk Mail' to avoid having e-mail from the same source sent to the Junk Mail folder in the future.

  • Click the Addresses tab.
  • Click New.
  • Type: info@interliningplus.com
  • Make sure 'Accept Mail From This Address' is selected under Receiving Options.
  • Uncheck 'Display in People Picker' under Other options.
  • Click Submit.
  • Click OK.

  • Click Friends from the toolbar.
  • Click Add.
  • Type info@interliningplus.com
  • Click OK.

  • Click Tools, then Blacklist & Friends.
  • Click Add... on the right, the Friends list side.
  • Make sure Plain e-mail address is selected.
  • Type info@interliningplus.com
  • Click OK.
  • Click OK.

  • Click Friends from the sidebar.
  • Click Add.
  • Type info@interliningplus.com
  • Click OK.

  • Check your 'Probably Spam' folder.
  • If you see that Interlining Plus newsletters were incorrectly filtered there, select them and click the 'Move to Inbox and Mark as Not Spam' button.

  • Add the following entry to your user_prefs file (the user_prefs file is in the .spamassassin subdirectory on your web/mail server):
  • whitelist_from info@interliningplus.com
  • Save the user_prefs file or move the updated copy to your .spamassassin subdirectory.
  • If you have no user_prefs file in this subdirectory, create one:

  • Click the Configure button.
  • Go to the Known Senders tab.
  • Click Add under 'Known Good Senders and Recipients'.
  • Type info@interliningplus.com
  • Click OK.
  • Click OK.

  • Click Filters from the sidebar.
  • Click the Approved Senders tab.
  • Click Add Filter.
  • Type info@interliningplus.com under Address.
  • Choose 'Full Email Address' under Address Type.
  • Select Email Domain.
  • Click OK.

  • Select Spam Inspector, then 'Manage Friends List' from either the Spam Inspector toolbar or from the Outlook menu.
  • Make sure Email is selected under 'Add a New Friend.'
  • Type info@interliningplus.com
  • Click the >> button.
  • Click Close.

  • Follow the Trusted link under > Authentication Lists.
  • Enter the e-mail address info@interliningplus.com
  • Click Add.

  • Click on the SpamPal system tray icon with the right mouse button.
  • Click 'Add to Whitelist' from the menu.
  • Type info@interliningplus.com
  • Click Add.

  • Select File, then Configure.
  • Go to the Friends category.
  • Make sure Active is checked.
  • Type info@interliningplus.com on a line by itself in the entry field.
  • Click OK.

  • Open your Yahoo! mailbox.
  • Click Mail Options.
  • Click Filters.
  • Click Add Filter.
  • In the top row, labeled 'From header:' make sure Contains is selected in the pull-down menu.
  • Click in the text box next to that pull-down menu, then enter the address info@interliningplus.com
  • At the bottom, where it says "Move the Message To:" select Inbox from the pull-down menu.
  • Click the Add Filter button again.
  • If any Interlining Plus newsletters have been filtered to your "bulk" folder, simply open the newsletters and click on the "This is not Spam" link next to the "From" field.
  • If any Interlining Plus newsletters are being filtered, try adding info@interliningplus.com to your Address Book or Contact list.
  • If this option is not available, try moving the message to your 'inbox' or forwarding the message to yourself.
  • If subsequent Interlining Plus newsletters continue to be filtered, call or e-mail your ISP's technical support and ask how you can be sure to receive all e-mail from info@interliningplus.com.
  • Domain: If technical support needs to know the domain from which Interlining Plus newsletters are mailed, it is interliningplus.com
  • IP Address: If Interlining Plus's sending IP address is requested, it is: 64.40.99.196
